The Calgary Vietnamese Youth Association (CVYA) invites you to a fundraising dinner to support the arrival of close to 400 Syrian refugees who are currently being sponsored by the Calgary Catholic Immigration Society (CCIS). Many of these displaced families and individuals will be arriving over the next months and need generous Calgarians to welcome them and connect them to the right supports.
Joins us on Dec 3 to support this cause and also honour Dr Howard Adelman, founder of "Operation Lifeline", a transformative Canadian initiative and the force behind the sponsorship of 60,000 Vietnamese Boat People in the late 1970's and 80's.
Tickets are $75 per person, and include a $50 tax receipt.
